Revlon Glimmer Correcting Concealer Review & Swatches

Revlon Glimmer Correcting Concealer ($12.99) is a new correcting and brightening concealer that’s available in two shades selections which launched with the Revlon Spring 2025 Collection. This is actually one of two formulas has Revlon also has a new Glimmer Brightening Concealer as well which is available in six shades.

I’ll be reviewing the Glimmer Brightening Concealer soon but I thought I’d start with the Glimmer Correcting Concealer first. Let’s take a look at my review and swatches below.

Revlon Glimmer Correcting Concealer is available in two shade section. They have a very pale pink beige shade which is the Brightener and a Neutralizer shade which appears to be more yellow beige. I didn’t get the Neutralizer as that seems it would be best suited for dark circles. I do have tired eyes but not a lot of darkness so I skipped that shade and headed right in to the Brightener. One of the pushes to purchase the Revlon Brightener Glimmer Correcting Concealer was because I keep seeing Tiktokers use pale pink powders, concealers, etc…under their eyes and it looks amazing. I’ve never been tempted to try it because I thought the warmth I have in my skin would make it look pasty. For reference I’m a light-medium and a lighter peach undertone in foundations and concealers seem to flatter me best.

Many of the Tiktokers who are using pink powders, correctors, and concealers are a deeper and warmer than my own tone and it seems to work out great for them. One particular product that’s gotten popular again is the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circle Treatment Concealer. The 160 Brightener is a pink shade is very popular at the moment. Revlon Glimmer Correcting Concealer in Brightener is the same concept but different packaging.

Bad idea on my part. This is way too light for me and as I thought it makes me look incredibly pasty. I tried it alone as well as with concealer on top and it just didn’t look right. Someone with a lighter skin tone than my own might benefit from it but sadly, that isn’t me. If you’re interested in trying something like this I’d recommend Catrice Under Eye Brightener. Catrice’s pink is a lot less pasty and will brighten up the eye area nicely which is what I wanted from this but sadly, it just didn’t work for me.

I can’t completely bash this formula though. It’s light, it spreads easily, and it blends out beautifully. It’s quite pigmented as well unlike the concealer formula which I felt lacked pigment. It’s thin yet creamy not terribly moisturizing but not drying either. I had no issues blending it under my drier eyes and it didn’t crease or cake throughout the six hour wear at which point it did sort of fade away. It’s thin enough to be wore along with another concealer should you like however, I felt thought it was best suited to using with a concealer that’s equally thin. For example, I used it with Tarte Shape Tape and it made application a little tricky with Shape Tape on top. I felt like Shape Tape was dragging and creasing when worn over it. However, when I wore it with the Glimmer Concealer which has the same thin consistency application was easy and flawless. I can’t speak poorly of the formula. It’s quite lovely and maybe if it had a little more warmth I’d actually love using it. I’d like for them to do a few more shades as a peach one would be ideal for me as peach is always a great brightening shade for under my eyes or even on my face. Purple, another important correcting shade, is lacking from the line up. The packaging is fairly basic. It’s 0.3 oz in size, packaged in a customary barrel, and has a oval-shaped flocked applicator that saturates well with color.

Revlon Glimmer Correcting Concealer didn’t work for me but I can see it working for others. The shade is a bit too light for this girl but the formula is quite lovely! I can’t fault that in the least.

Where to buy

Ulta Amazon Walmart

Revlon Glimmer Correcting Concealer is a new correcting concealer available in two shades that’s 0.3 oz in size and $12.99 per shade. I picked up the Brightener shade which is a very light pale pink beige. Sadly, the shade was ghastly on me and looked very pasty under my eyes and didn’t quite work out with concealer on top either. The formula though was quite nice. It’s thin and creamy and blends very easily. It wasn’t moisturizing but it wasn’t drying either. I thought it applied nicely under my drier eyes without creasing or caking. It seemed to work great with other thinner formula but thicker, creamy concealers like Tarte Shape Tape I struggled with as application was dragging and it seems like my concealer caked when it was worn on top of the Brightener.

Pros

  • Light, thin, creamy.
  • Blends easily under eyes.
  • Doesn’t crease or cake.

Cons

  • Way too light, pasty finish.
  • Wears well over thinner concealers but draggy, cakey application when worn under thicker ones.

Who

Revlon Glimmer Correcting Concealer will make a nice brightening shade for with a lighter skin tone.
