Paris Corner Marshmallow Blush Review

Paris Corner Marshmallow Blush Perfume is a new fragrance that’s making the rounds in the fragrance community as a dupe for Kayali Yum Boujee Marshmallow. That’s the real question though. Is Paris Corner Marshmallow Blush a dupe for Kayali Yum Boujee Marshmallow? No, it isn’t I hate to disappoint but the two are in the same family but they aren’t twins. That being said, they’ll layer beautifully together and also, it’s nice have to very unique marshmallow fragrances.

If you’re unfamiliar with Paris Corner it’s Dubai-based brand that’s sold at Aroma Concepts. The house has gotten a lot of air time on Tiktok and is having a crazy viral moment thanks to the spotlight that’s been pretty shining so heavily on Arabic fragrances. It’s also pretty popular because it’s known for creating duplications of very high-end fragrances. Sometimes it does so successfully other times it sort of fails. I have to admit I do approach all my purchases from Paris Corner with caution. About 75% of what I’ve purchased from them has been a fail. A lot are very, very, very overhyped on Tiktok.

Paris Corner Marshmallow Blush was an instantly blindbuy as it contains marshmallow and I do love a good marshmallow scent. But also, I was intrigued about it being a dupe of Kayali Yum Boujee Marshmallow and was eager to compare the two as I really am loving Yum Boujee Marshmallow! I was pleasantly surprised how much I loved this as I really was bracing to be disappointed as I was in the past with a lot of my Paris Corner purchases.

Paris Corner Marshmallow Blush Review

If you’re comparing Paris Corner Marshmallow Blush to Kayali Yum Boujee Marshmallow the notes they have in common are strawberry, raspberry, lemon, marshmallow, orange blossom, and ambroxan. Kayali’s fragrance is much more complicated note-wise compared Paris Corner. I’ve compared the two below!

Kayali Yum Boujee Marshmallow Notes
Top: Freesia, Italian Lemon, Nectarine blossom and Apple
Middle: Marshmallow, Strawberry, Coconut and Orange Blossom
Base: Whipped Cream, Sugar, Vanilla, Musk, Raspberry and Ambroxan

Paris Corner Marshmallow Blush Notes
Top: Strawberry, Raspberry, Lemon
Middle: Ambroxan, Orange Blossom
Base: Musk, Candy Scents, Marshmallow

As you can see Yum Boujee Marshmallow does have a few extra notes that aren’t featured in Marshmallow Blush and I do think that’s why the two smell a little different. Both smell amazing and they actually work nicely together as well if you want to cocktail the two!

Let’s chat packaging first! How cute is the box? It’s decorated with little candies and marshmallows and in the back it has a wax seal stamp. It gave me Bridgerton vibes for some reason.

Marshmallow Blush opens with a pop of lemon mixed sweetened with raspberry and a hint of strawberry. That lemon actually stays around well after the dry down. As the scent settles on your skin you still get that sweet zesty tartness from the lemon but with a tiny hint of orange blossom. Ambroxan really doesn’t add warmth or woodsiness to the fragrance. It remains very light with a delicate fruitiness through the wear. As the scent dries completely down you’ll get a faint sweet candy note and a fluffy marshmallow one that combines with the dominant lemon one. To me it almost smells like lemon cookies with a bit of raspberry jam filling. The marshmallow doesn’t really overwhelm but adds a touch of fluffy sweetness in the background. This fragrances doesn’t take itself seriously at all. It’s playful, girly, sweet, and fun. It hasn’t had time to macerate at all but I’m curious if with time the marshmallow base will be more prominent. I used EOS Strawberry Dream Shea Better Body Lotion with this and it’s a marriage most wonderful.

Sadly, it’s weak scent. I’m surprised as Arabic fragrances are typically beast mode. I actually feel like Yum Boujee Marshmallow creates a way better scent bubble. I can spray myself a few times in the morning and this leaves behind a lighter scent profile several hours later but it isn’t super strong and doesn’t project to a point you’ll have people complimenting you or asking what you’re wearing. It’s just very light.

Aside from it’s weaker wear I really enjoyed Paris Corner Marshmallow Blush and thought it was a lovely little fragrance for the days you just want something that smells happy and fun!
