Oops! I said ass crack. Sorry not sorry. But I have to say if I could block Lume advertisements on all my social media accounts I would be one very happy camper. I think their ads are revolting. They are constantly trying to be “hip” and “modern” and more appealing to “the people” by talking about weird body odors. I guess they think this marketing is relatable but I don’t find it relatable at all! I actually find it rather revolting. I don’t want to talk body odor with you thanks so much!
“Here’s a solid stick of deo you can use on under your boobs or between your butt cheeks!” Ma’am, can we not be so intimate with these adverts? We haven’t even been formally introduced yet!
I kid you not I can’t escape these ads. If I’m scrolling on Tiktok I’ll run across at least two of them coming at me rapid pace and urging me to worry about the smells that may be happening between my thighs, between my my butt cheeks, and other unmentionable. A majority of the ads are done by Shannon Klingman who is not only the creator of Lume Whole Body Deodorant but also a gynecologist. But please, someone needs to tell her that being a doctor does not mean she can tell me my ass crack smells and I need Lume.
Listen, I respect your hustle Shannon but the marketing just isn’t for me. Sorry. I just can’t sit here and seriously listen to you describe smells radiating from people’s asses. My inner teenage boy demands to me let out so he can laugh at these ads.
You’re exhausting me, Lume. Please stop? Thank you. Sincerely, the Muse who doesn’t have a smelly ass crack.
How about you? Have you run into these annoying Lume ads? Or any other ads that you want to scream at the screen over?
